Scanner policy
A respectful, identifiable accessibility scanner
CompliAccess loads public web pages to test rendered HTML against automated WCAG checks. It does not solve CAPTCHAs, evade access controls, or rotate identities to bypass a website owner’s security policy.
Identification
Rendered requests use a Chrome-compatible user agent ending in CompliAccessScanner/1.0 and the X-CompliAccess-Scanner: public-accessibility-audit header.
Crawl behaviour
Pages on one site are processed sequentially with a delay between requests. Duplicate in-progress scans are rejected, and scheduled scans are staggered.
Allowlisting
Site owners can narrowly allow the published scanner IP and identification header for public pages. Security challenges remain under the site owner’s control.
